Come to the November’s SVBC General Meeting!
Date: November 8 at 6:30pm
Location : Kapp’s Bar and Grill
191 Castro St. Mountain View, CA 94041

How can we make our website a better resource for you? SVBC is ready to take our website to the next level. We’re upgrading our website to a Drupal content management system, and we’re looking for fresh ideas to improve our existing content and further advance the functionality of our website. Please join us November 8 as we brainstorm all the exciting possibilities of what our website could do for you.

Kapp’s is a great little pizza place just off the Mountain View Caltrain stop. Pizza’s on us, and let me tell you, it’s good… it’s real good. And their Happy Hour, a smooth $3 a beer, ends at 6:30pm, so get there on time!

7000 or Bust! - Membership Rallying Meeting

Friday, November 2nd, 2007

What are you doing this Veteran’s Day?

SVBC members constantly work on making bicycling an viable means of commuting across the Silicon Valley by championing more bike lanes, connecting routes and trails between cities, and teaching bicycle safety skills on the road. The more members we have, the stronger our voice and the more we can do to further bicyclists’ position on our roads.

Help us rally your community by attending this Membership Rallying Meeting.
Date: November 12th at 6:30 PM
Location: TBA Soon!

We Did It!

Friday, November 2nd, 2007

Thanks to the overwhelming flood of support, not only has the VTA Board of Directors enthusiastically approved of the $3.35M to help Cupertino build the Mary Avenue Bicycle Footbridge over highway 280, but they also voluntarily expressed desires that this project not delay other bicycle projects.

But it isn’t over yet. Before the end of November, we’re hoping final approval of the project will come before the Council, so we’ll need one more round of supportive expressions soon. We’ll keep you posted.

We’re almost there!
