Corinne joined SVBC as the Executive Director in 2005. She is passionate about bicycle advocacy and other transportation, land use, and environmental issues. She coordinates Bike to Work Day in Santa Clara County each spring and developed a bicycle skills education program benefiting both children and adults. She works with the members of SVBC to advocate for cyclists and bicycle facilities at the local, regional, and national levels. Corinne also sits on the board of the Bay Area Bicycle Coalition (BABC) and on the San Jose Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (SJ BPAC).

Virginia comes to SVBC from a diverse background. Most recently she worked at Mercury Interactive as the Executive Assistant to the V.P. of Finance, Planning and Analysis. However, her original career path was in the arts as a classical vocalist. Her vocal career led her to perform in New York, Boston, Florence and Paris. Virginia strongly believes commuting by bicycle is great way to bring people together in their communities. Among other assignments, Virginia will assist the Executive Director in the planning of Bike To Work Week. Virginia loves to cycle with her friends in The Almaden Cycling and Touring Club.

Greg first joined SVBC as Executive Director in 2001. He is currently Senior Design Engineer for Commercial Projects for REC Solar, a Solar Electric Systems Integrator. “I’ve always wanted to see bicycles taken seriously in transportation infrastructure, and SVBC is the organization that is making this happen in Santa Clara County.” Greg has been a bicycle commuter in the South Bay since Elementary School and grew up Mountain Biking in Stevens Canyon in addition to riding his bike “everywhere.”


David Hoag, Vice President

David is a lifelong resident of Santa Clara county and has been involved in cycling for most of that time. He has served as president and past president of Almaden Cycling Touring Club and is serving currently serving on the ACTC board as Vice President. He is involved in the Sierra Club as the transportation chair for the Guadalupe group and has been active at the Loma Prieta chapter. “I believe that SVBC truly has the potential for great changes this year, and I look forward to using my local contacts as well as my project management skills to help facilitate those changes.”


Paul Goldstein, Treasurer

Paul has been an SVBC member since 1988. He has served on the board since 1999. He has been a member of the Palo Alto Bicycle Advisory Committee since 1996. He is particularly interested in legislative issues and currently serves on the California Bicycle Coalition Legislative Committee. Paul is a committed bicyclist, using his bicycle for commuting, recreation, touring and everyday transportation. Paul wants to see SVBC reach out to the recreational and competitive cycling communities and build a stronger membership base. “I believe that with an expanded membership base and full-time staff, SVBC can become an even stronger force for improving conditions for cyclists in Santa Clara County.”


Jerri-Ann Meyer, Secretary

Jerri-Ann has been an SVBC member since 1998, and is now a life member. She serves on the Mountain View Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), and as such, coordinates the Mountain View BPAC’s Bike to Work Day Energizer Station at the Mountain View Transit Center. She is an enthusiastic and frequent SVBC volunteer bike parker, and coordinated bike parking for the Guadalupe River Park Grand Opening in September of 2005. Jerri-Ann fell in love with bicycling over 20 years ago and has not stopped pedaling since. She rides for transportation, recreation, and vacation trips. “My goal is to improve bike safety and accessibility for riders of all levels. I greatly enjoy helping others integrate bicycling into their lives in a safe and enjoyable manner.”


Ellen Fletcher

Ellen has been an SVBC member since 1974, and has been the primary Spinning Crank editor for years. She has been a Palo Alto Bicycle Advisory Committee member since 1974, except for the 12 years she spent on the Palo Alto City Council. She has been involved in advocacy on many issues, including a historical bicycle parking requirement in the Palo Alto zoning code, the nation’s first bicycle boulevard, getting bikes permitted on Caltrain and VTA light rail and buses. Ellen is the bicycle parking manager at Stanford football games and other events, and enjoys tabling at employer health and commute fairs.


Anne Ng

Anne has been an SVBC member since 1980. She has served as the Membership Chairperson since l988, and enjoys hand delivering information to new members via her bicycle. She is an SVBC volunteer bike parker, tabler, and Crank contributor. Anne was a founding (former) Cupertino BPAC member, and serves as the primary Cupertino Crank reporter. Her primary vehicle is her bike, which she uses mainly for transportation but always with pleasure.


Celia Chung

Celia joined the SVBC board in 2007. She firmly believes that the bicycle is a viable mode of daily transportation and is enthusiastic about improving conditions for bicyclists. She would also like to increase awareness of the existing resources that support bicycling. Celia has lived in Mountain View since 1999, and worked for 5 years as the Bicycle Program Manager at VTA. She also enjoys valet parking bicycles with SVBC at numerous street fairs and Stanford football games.


Christopher Lepe

Chris joined the SVBC board in 2007. He is interested in working with the organization in its efforts to reach out to traditionally underserved communities. He is one of several people to help start a South Bay Latino Environmental Group, “Nuestro Camino,” and has worked with the Transportation and Land Use Coalition (TALC) and SEIU Local 1877. Chris is currently a student of Urban Regional Planning, with an emphasis in Environmental Planning, and teaches in the Environmental Studies Department at DeAnza College.


Board members of SVBC are elected to two year terms at our annual Winter Party in December. We are always on the look out for talented, passionate cyclists to join us and help us acheive the mission of the organization.
