BIKE AWAY, BIKE AWAY, BIKE AWAY FROM WORK BASH!

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

It was a night of celebration, fun and high bidding fun at Gordon Biersch on the night of Bike to Work Day. Gordon Biersch kept the beer flowing, the food was exotic and the magical drumming of the Brazilian trio was hypnotic. SVBC members nibbled and mingled with new members, hard core hammerheads hob knobbed with the newbies. The party reached a critical mass and the bidding began. Some great new bikes were sold at our live auction, courtesy of the generous donations by Sportsbasement and Specialized. The Silent Auction was golden as bidders scored some great deals on Bike Gadgets and Gift Certificates. Sweeeet!

The folks at Gordon Biersch were part of the fun and we are so grateful for all they did for Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition’s “Bike Away From Work Bash”. All SVBC members and supporters are encouraged to patronize our wonderful sponsors, Gordon Biersch, Sportsbasement, Specialized, Palo Alto Bicycles, The Bicycle Outfitter, The Off Ramp, Calabazas Cyclery, REI, and Cynthia’s Twigs. Keep our bike industries jiving and thriving!!

Check out a few photos of our evening…more to come soon!
