Street Skills + Road 1 for Women, Mountain View

Date: May 4 (1-5pm) & 5 (9am-4pm), 2007

Lead Instructor: Mary Paquet
Location: Google Headquarters, Mountain View
Fee: FREE! Funded by VTA.

Description: Improve your bicycling skills riding with traffic, learn your rights and duties on the road. Subjects include selecting the right bike for you, fixing a flat tire, riding at night, taking a bike on public transit, and negotiating busy intersections. Register for either Street Skills (Friday afternoon only) or Road 1 (Friday afternoon and Saturday). Street Skills is an interactive classroom-only lecture and powerpoint presentation. Road 1 includes Street Skills plus on-bike practice, on-bike test, and written test.
