Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition

Ride in the July 4th parade!

This year the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition will have the theme of a bicycle moving company to show the audience that bicycles really are utilitarian vehicles that can carry a load.

Come join us with bicycle trailers, decorated bicycles, unique cycles of any kind. Bring your couch, your dining room table, your kayak, your unicycle, or just yourself and your bicycle to help us celebrate this event and entertain the audience.

We will have some crepe paper, simple decorations, and some extra bicycle trailers to tow, but please feel free to creatively decorate your bicycles beforehand.

In addition volunteers are needed to help hand out t-shirts, greet people, and bring the float back to its home after the parade. If you would like to volunteer or just ride in the parade, email paradebicycletunes [dot] org. Details on the meeting time and place will be provided.

We have a couple of extra bicycle trailers to tow. If you would like to pick one up and ride with our group to the parade start, please meet at 508 Jackson Ave, Redwood City at 9:30AM.
