Urban Outing along North First Street Corridor
San Jose's North First Street corridor, currently home to the sprawling, auto-oriented campuses of some of the world's best-known tech companies, will soon be transformed with 32,000 new homes and 83,000 new jobs, as well as parks, bike lanes, plazas, and widened sidewalks. If done well, this new development will embrace the existing light rail line.
Greenbelt Alliance, the City of San Jose Redevelopment Agency, and the Great Communities Collaborative are hosting a light rail tour along the North First Street corridor. Lunch and a VTA light rail pass will be provided.
Join us as we explore the area's potential! Also, SVBC Board Member Christopher Lepe will be speaking at this event.
RSVP: Lunch is free for those who respond by Friday, August 8. Reply to Carolyn Roose, Greenbelt Alliance, (415) 543-6771 x315 or cdtintern
