The attached letter was faxed to Sen Joe Simitian's office this afternoon. AB 1358, The California Complete Streets Act of 2007, has been in limbo since Assemblymember Leno entered a primary election challenge to unseat State Senator Carole Migden. Now with Leno's primary victory, the bill is moving in the State Senate and should come to the floor next week. This bill has been the number one priority of the California Bicycle Coalition. It is extremely important policy legislation.

This letter is in line with our previously voted support of AB 1358.
