The City currently has two commission vacancies; one on the Planning Commission and one on the Transportation and Circulation Commission.

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission now has one vacant seat due to the resignation of one commissioner. If you are a resident of the City of San Carlos and interested in serving on the City's Planning Commission, applications are being accepted at this time.

Transportation and Circulation Commission

This Commission also currently has one vacancy due to a recent resignation. The Commission recommends to the City Council, Planning Commission and staff, complaints and other matters having to do with traffic circulation, including pedestrian and bicycling matters; recommends ways and means for improving traffic and circulation conditions, and reducing the use of motorized transportation in the City; periodically reviews matters related to the Circulation Element of the City's General Plan, and advises with respect to specific development projects on traffic and circulation matters including bicycle and pedestrian conditions. Finally, the Commission reviews and comments on preliminary plans for all Capital Improvement Programs related to any and all modes of transportation.
