1 Introduction
This tutorial includes a number of topics related to bicycling safely
in traffic, including the use of helmets, traffic rules, and avoiding
accidents, both through practices that help drivers predict what
a cyclist will do and techniques for avoiding or at least mitigating
an accident when a mistake occurs.
The companion documents provide a more detailed treatment of these topics
both from the viewpoint of a cyclist and from the viewpoint of a driver.
